For those of you who couldn't stomach watching
Michelle Obama at the convention the other night, you missed quite a performance. She has
become a real pro at public speaking. She reads the teleprompter as smoothly
as her husband, but with much more emotion added in all the right places. It went
over just fine in the hall, with Democrats swooning over her with the
same creepy rapture we saw in that movie The Exorcist!
I'm not sure that I really understand all this hostility towards the First Lady,
excuse my disappointment, as a big fan of both puppies and our First Lady alike.
But I'm
thinking that Michelle Obama needs a little History lesson. Let's not
forget this is the woman who is not proud of her country unless she's
getting what she wants from it. She said during the campaign the first
time she had been proud of her country was when Obama was nominated or
done something. So she sacrificed herself to get in a big, luxurious
jet, a Boeing 757, to fly to Copenhagen where she is pampered and
treated like she were a goddess. Yes, this is a sacrifice
