Dozens of A-holes also know as The Occupy Wall Street protesters were arrested on New Year's Eve as they tore down barricades surrounding New York City's Zuccotti Park, the former Pigsty that they call home which was dismantled several weeks ago.
About 500 protesters gathered in the park Saturday evening, where they rang in the New Year with songs and chants of “Kumbaya” and "We are the 99 per cent".
About 11pmsome protesters began to tear down the barricades that surrounded the park since New York police officers evicted the herd of Zoo Animals from Occupying the park the Police then moved in.
"They (police) got very aggressive and started pushing people and pepper-spraying people," protester Jason Amadi, 27, of San Jose, California, said Sunday. "I got pepper-sprayed in the face." Well, poor boy, wasn’t that too freaken bad.
The New York Police Department said 68 people were arrested and at least one person was accused of assaulting a police officer, who suffered cuts on one hand. Other charges included trespassing, disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment.
Police were still processing the arrests on Sunday morning but some protesters had been released. Police provided no other details on the confrontation.
What I'd like to know is why are they still giving press coverage to these loons?
And whats with this 99 percenter's Crap? 53 percent pay Income Tax's and 43 percent of them don't. So what's their point? If they even have a point!
Hilariously enough, the press is much more kind to the movement than their own words. I peruse the OWS minutes and activities on their own published website. The normal "man on the street" interviews look like geniuses compared to the junior high school girl in-fighting on their own website.
ReplyDeleteQuite entertaining. If you're into stupid reality online idiots.
